Happy Monday!
I know Mondays can be a bit of a drag for most of us, so use these tips to boost your mind's energy! To stimulate the mind use the following essential oils: Use 6 drops of either lemon, orange or peppermint, 3 drops of either aniseed, clove or rosemary and 1 drops of either sandalwood or patchouli.
You can find these oils at your local Whole Foods or really any specialty health food store. Hopefully MJ Organics will have them in the near future!
You can add these essential oils into your favorite lotion, a spray bottle filled with warm water or simply make a cold compress. If you're going the lotion route I would recommend using a fragrance-free or lightly scented lotion. My personal favorite is Aveda's Botanical Kinetics Hydrating Lotion.
You can make your own room spray by adding the oils to a bottle filled with warm water. Simple spray the mist in the air to fill the whole room with this mind-boosting aroma.
Or of course simply make a cold compress using these oils and relax for 30 minutes with the compress over your forehead and eyes. What a great way to rejuvenate your senses on a bleak Monday afternoon!
